The Museum has moved off of the Naval base and no base pass is currently needed to visit!
Driving Directions
The Museum is located near the corner of Las Flores and China Lake Blvd. in Ridgecrest, CA. and is next to the Maturango Museum and across from the Ridgecrest City Library.
From the North
If arriving while driving north on US 395 from San Bernardino, or south on US 395 from Lone Pine, or north on Hwy 14 from Lancaster, turn east on Hwy 178 (also known as Inyokern Road) and drive east 10 miles to the stoplight at the intersection of Inyokern Road and China Lake Blvd. Turn south (right) onto China Lake Blvd. Drive 1.5 miles and turn east (left) at the light onto Las Flores Ave. The museum will be on the left side of the street.
FROM THE west
If arriving from the west (Trona or Death Valley), turn right (north) at China Lake Blvd. Drive 2 stoplights to Las Flores Ave. and turn right. The museum will be on the left side of the street.
